NYAC has a responsibility within our profession, membership, communities, and state to promote social justice. We are committed to building a more equitable organization and a more representative historical record by amplifying the voices of marginalized communities and archives practitioners. We recognize that we have much to improve on moving forward and we will continuously advocate for larger conversations on ethics and social justice within our organization, membership, and profession.
